Most of you likely don't have any perspective on the layout of Atlanta.
This latest killing of a Black man in College Park Georgia happened:
- About 4 blocks down on Old National Highway from the murder scene where 2 Black mothers were stripped naked and then shot in the head execution style
- About 3 blocks up the street from the world renowned "World Changers Ministries" mega-church.
The legacy of the news about a "Black man getting shot in the back and killed like a dog" is an enduring one. This is what we suffered during the height of "Jim Crow". This at the time when "A Black man had no RIGHTS that a White man need respect". Recall a few weeks ago I reported about how Dr Mary Francis Berry drew upon a "Black man having been shot in the back in Alabama" as a setup for her discussion of the racist and oppressive conditions that Black people suffered in the South. Sadly that legacy is still alive - only the killers are different.
In this past it was the wanton shooting, lynching and burning of Black people that brought our people to the point of being "Sick and Tired Of Being Sick and Tired!!!".
Sadly and unfortunately - the tears of this grieving mother will go unanswered but by the POLICE. The same police who are now seen as the focus of video taping in the eyes of the NAACP. For in their view the RACIAL VIOLATIONS enacted by the police are a greater threat than the Pirates who "shoot Black men in the back in 2009".
I empathize for this grieving mother. Sadly her son was killed by the wrong "profile" of killer to trigger an all out response from the Civil Rights Establishment in metro Atlanta.
We should allow the favorable elected officials that this Civil Rights Establishment got into power to do their jobs in finding these killers. We can't agitate them because they are our Permanent Friends.
