Soul Patrol "De-Blackifies" Black Cambridge Cop - Always Silent About Pirates

Black cop at Gates home regrets 'Uncle Tom' label

It is important to set this up properly.

A Black police officer who took an oath of office to uphold the laws with integrity is attacked by certain Black bigots as being an "Uncle Tom", a "disgrace to his race". You can go to the "Field-Negro" blog and other "AfroSpear" blogs to see this type of sentiment about Sgt. Leon Lashley expressed.

Let's see did Sgt Lashley:
  • Steal cash confiscated from drug dealers and use it for his own?
  • Did he plant drugs upon a Black suspect, sending another young Black male to the P.I.C.?
  • Was he involved in a very suspect police shooting where there was the proverbial "Unarmed Black Man" found dead afterward?
  • Or did he do what is scorned by the "Electrocuted While Black" blog site (yes there is a blog site with this as a theme) - Tazed A Black Man upon arrest?
No - he did none of these things.

The "crime" alleged against Sgt Lashley is that he was "disloyal to his RACE" by agreeing with the stance of his fellow police officer Crawley in observing the actions of Professor Skip Gates.

We must be reminded that this is the same Soul Patrol who:
  • I have never seen strip the "Blackness" from a Black Criminal who has murdered, assaulted or raped another Black person. Instead they are more likely to apply "Justice Thurgood Marshall Justice" where they take this criminals cause later on in the process if he is victimized by the justice system
  • They always demand more Integrity from the police authorities in obeying the laws (something that they never seem to apply to Black Criminals). It is clear that in this case they only want to see Police Integrity when it favors their perspective

Once again it is clear that the Black Community needs to put the SoulPatrol on trial for their antics that are ultimately injurious to our community's interests.

Whereas it is important for a people to field a system that brings forth safe streets, justice in accordance with our laws and conflict resolution among the people - this band of bigots cannot be counted on to operate as a conduit for such a system state. Instead they are more akin to the historical function of the "All White Jury". Their antics needed to be placed in check via a new set of policies meant to bring forth transparency.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- A black sergeant who was at the home of Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. when he was arrested says he's been maligned as an "Uncle Tom" for supporting the actions of the white arresting officer.

Cambridge Sgt. Leon Lashley gave a letter to Sgt. James Crowley to give to President Barack Obama during their so-called beer summit with Gates on Thursday night at the White House.

In the letter, which was also sent to CNN, Lashley says Gates "may have caused grave and potentially irreparable harm to the struggle for racial harmony."

Lashley says he has become known as a traitor to his heritage by some because he "spoke the truth" about the arrest.

Gates was charged with disorderly conduct by police investigating a burglary. The charge was later dropped.

It was to be expected. When blacks have differing opinions and beliefs that differ from the collective, this is what happens. Sgt. Lashley did the right thing in standing up for the truth. It's sad that in his case as well as the young lady that made the call in the first place "no good deed goes unpunished".

From the outside Amercian seems fair, yet this event has showed that there are deep divisions based on race.
