The ideological tendencies of some people show that they did not see the pre-Labor Movement conditions in the United State in which the worker was effectively "owned" by an outside force as being damnable in ABSOLUTE terms. Instead as they engineer the shift from "corporate" totalitarianism over to government totalitarianism as it relates to the control that an entity has over an individual's life - it is clear that the only problem was that the corporation placed control of the masses in too few hands.Do you ever stop to think about the "few hands" that control Cuba and North Korea?
Note: Please Research The Subject: "Company Town" or "Mill Town" for background information on the "total corporate ownership" of all that a worker interacted with - soup to nuts. (Or is it "from birth" to "death"?).

i would love to steal/borrow this chart. Where did you get it?
I "got it" from years of researching.
I need to update it though. This is version 1.0.
I forgot the name of the private corporate security group: "The Pinkertons". They used to bust up laborer's heads for the industrialists.
I should add - I recall my 7th and 8th grade history teachers detailing how the various towns "Alcoa TN", "Gary IN" and to some extent "Birmingham AL" were "corporate towns" that were built by a company.
The housing, retail, medical were all brought forth by the company. They built a plant and needed to insure that their workers had some place to live.
