Poor Fred Of WAOK - The Self-Proclaimed Black Republican Who Voted For Obama

Some things are so funny and so sad at the same time.

Atlanta's local Black "Fight The Power" talk radio station is called "WAOK AM" - "The Voice Of The Community". If you want to know what the Democratic Party is pushing upon America - listen to WAOK and they well be "selling it" better than most others.

I record WAOK on a daily basis as part of my archival and analysis of "What Makes The Prevailing Black Political Machine Tick".

There is a daily caller on the show named Fred. Now years ago Fred was a self-proclaimed Republican. He may be calling himself just a "Black Conservative". In any event, last year, despite having a long track record of being critical of the Democratic Party and the Black Establishment - he put aside all of those things and voted for "the Black Guy In Chief".

To be fair - anyone who listens to WAOK all day long and is not firmly rooted in what they actually believe before entering into the fray is going to make such a strategic mistake. You mostly get one perspective on WAOK and when they other side of the story IS presented - just as Keith Olbermann does - it is only put up as a straw man to be torn down shortly there after.

Today I heard the consquences of the caller Fred having put aside his fundamental beliefs and going along with the crowd. He called in today in regards to a conversation about the CIA and its Covert Operations being held secret even from the US Congress. You have to realize - that any subject that is critical of the Bush Administration trumps any particular running crisis situation WITHIN the Black community. Despite the fact that I have two new news feeds about the cheating scandal in several metro Atlanta schools that have compromised the integrity of many Black children's education - this subject does not have the panache that deriding former Vice President Cheney provides to them.

Now Fred did step in it when he mentioned that the broad US House should not be made aware of all CIA operations. He used CYNTHIA MCKINNEY and her present actions in fighting against Israeal, America's friend, as an example of an Anti-America type who might make use of this CIA information against this nation.

Why did he go ahead and do that?

The next 5 callers in a row called in to dog out Fred. I guess his vote for Obama was not enough to win him any sort of abatement from attack - now that the election is over and the WAOK contingent got what they wanted (even though their communities have still not "gotten what they wanted")

One guy said that Fred's momma should have kept the plecenta and thrown him away. He is worthless.

Another caller said that Fred stands for "Fake Republican Education Device".

Still another caller said "Cythia McKinney is a good woman. She sees injustice in how Israel is treating the Palestineans and she is speaking out against injustice".

I will post reports on the attacks on 4 Christian churches that happened in the region this weekend to see if this standard of justice is held in the neighboring nations which seem to avoid the scorn that Cythia McKinney and her spiritual replacement in Congress - Donna Edwards never seems to provide.

Fred - I saw it coming man.

You teamed up with Shelly Wynters to become "Conservative Black Republicans For Obama". While this allowed you to join in on the "Yes We Can" parade for a few months - you are now made to criticize Obama's spending and other policy train-wrecks that will soon be coming our way, AND that bigoted base of callers that accepted you in - during the time that you agreed with them - are now cutting your throat on a daily basis.

This is what happens when you sellout your principles for expediency.
