“Take Back The Black Community Consciousness". It has been hijacked by embedded operatives who don't intend to develop the COMPETENCIES within. We once controlled this consciousness, focusing our activism directly upon our permanent interests. Today the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" has us as starters and some believe that this playing time translates into absolute progress for our people. My goal is to hold our permanent interests in their faces, forcing them to explain their actions.

Black Women Use Technology To Fight Crime

This was the best news that I have heard all morning!!!

I am proud of you two sistas for flipping the script on this Pirate who pulled a gun on you and stole your private property.

I would be remiss if I failed to bring up the NAACP in this story. Recall a few weeks ago the NAACP suggested that Black people make use of technology in our fight for Civil Rights and against RACISM. They wanted us to use the camera phone to film.......the POLICE!!!!

I hope that the NAACP is making note of the prevailing threat to Black people today and then get some treatment for the jaundice that clouds their vision of reality.

Just imagine how far we would get as a community if we knew who our ENEMY was and acted the part. Maybe the enemy is not a PERSON but a set of forces that bear down upon a person?

Most certainly a person smitten with a spirit that possesses him to rob a person at gun point qualifies as such. This is no "brother" of mine.

The Use Of "Slave/Jim Crow Images" In Black Political Debate - Evaluate The Agenda

The use of "slave imagery" is common in ideological discourse among Black people today. The best way to appraise the veracity of the agenda of the presenter is to distinguish between those images which are used to cajole Black people into "Ideological Unity" versus those images used to bring consciousness to the sad fact that in far too many cases today - the man holding the gun is a Black man, his disturbed consciousness allowed to fester because the balance of our community organizers are focused on external political affairs. They sell us on the notion that when our people assist their political/ideological external partners in their success that these individuals who suffer from BENIGN NEGLECT will be cured - no longer terrorizing us. In the circular reference that is their struggle - the more damaged individuals that matriculate through the local institutions that they now control per their struggle, the louder their call for continued UNITY and redirection lest our community's long time external adversaries start terrorizing us again. They successfully avoid community scrutiny of their stewardship of our key "Human Resource Development" institutions.
