Black Cajoling: De-Blackification

The other night a friend of mine attempted to use the "Black Sellout" trick upon me by correlating my criticism of the Black Establishment with the suggestion that I should not have a problem with Michael Jackson's racial transformation and his choice to produce "White kids". It was yet another "2 progressives against 1 conservative" setups.

He said it and saw that I was startled by his assertion but he was more surprised when I actually asked him to justify his logic, while showing no emotion in response to his claim. He logic was that since I "am seeking to disassemble Black power that it shouldn't matter that Michael Jackson has chosen White kids". (Note: Earlier in the conversation I told them that I am not a Republican. Instead I am an observer and critic of the Black establishment. They seek increased power yet run away from accountability with the aid of their agents that protect them)

My friends comments about me is merely a tactic that is used to keep Black folks in line.

As I enter into these type of debates I realize what my opponents are going to do - attempt to "De-Blackify" me as part of their debate tactics. Instead of fearing what mere words can do to me I instead ask them to justify their logic. He couldn't.

Now mind you as a close personal friend who has known me for nearly 25 year and a person who is educated he is more inclined to stick within the rules of our intellectual debate. The typical "de-blackification" attack is not confined as such. Typically it involves more aggressive name calling and a direct attempt to intimidate the other into submission. "Agree with us or you are going to be attacked".

As with all other similar cases it is to the advantage of the "bigot" to not have their claims reduced to a logically arrived at conclusion. Instead they make use of blatant "gravitational pull" to achieve the goal of homogeneity of thought and action.

The Evidence Says Otherwise

Being that I work hard to keep my personal life and my "blogger life" separate I was not able to point him to my blog properties to see how wrong he is about my views regarding Michael Jackson's "low meninin tollerance" for himself and his kids. I am one of the few Black bloggers who are NOT outright defending Michael Jackson by obfuscating on the issue of his racial morph.

Instead I had to defend myself by disassembling his argument.

The ironic part of it all is that the REVERSE IS TRUE in regards to my friend's assertions. The more progressive Black bloggers seek to hold up Michael Jackson as a "Black racial icon". With this as their goal they are willing to overlook the facts that are in front of him in regards to his -self-modifications and the selection of the genetic attributes of his children.

It is no doubt true that if a person that they my two friends dislike did anything closely approximating what Michael Jackson did, you had better believe that this person would turn RED from all of the verbal bruises that he has suffered on his body from their attacks.

Evidence shows that I have been far more consistent. My viewpoints are less modified based on the subject at hand than theirs is.

Just as the leaders in "Animal Farm" needed to have their rules written in chalk so that the constitution could be changed in the middle of the night, so if the case with the BQPFRC who would not be able to write his own rules down in a permanent form because he centrally depends upon subjective application in order to retain the power that he has over our community.

I do not claim to have all of the answers with regard to my present disposition. However, when I see the same ole tired patterns and tactics being used by my ideological adversaries it is hard to take them seriously.
