Final Call - Save Our Black Children This Summer From Violence And Murder

Alright - I have just completed reading the latest edition of "The Final Call" that I purchased from an NOI member at a traffic light today.

The NOI is an interesting organization for me to evaluate. On the one hand they are all about much of the "self-help" and community management beliefs that I hold. On the other hand they make the same strategic mistakes that I see the traditional Black Progressive Establishment make in the way of "trying harder" and one day the Termites within the Black community will come around and stop assaulting, robbing and killing us. Louis Farrakhan has attempted to capture and redirect the most ignorant purveyors in Hip Hop, carefully avoiding the JUDGMENT of them lest he turn them off. This is my primary criticism of the organization. If there IS a time to be INTOLERANT it should be surrounding people who traffic in the messages of assault, murder, drug dealing and 'pimping' Black women.

THE SUMMERTIME MURDER SPREE WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY

Despite my differences with the NOI I feel a sense of validation because they are yet another "Black entity" that has more "credibility" than I am purported to have who is calling out the BLACK ON BLACK HOMICIDES that are taking place within our community.

After years of observations and pattern detecting it comes as no surprise that Summertime is the most deadly time for Black people within the Black community. Furthermore - the news on Saturday morning and Sunday morning unveils to the metro area the latest list of assaults upon Black people from the night before.

"Don't Shoot. I Want To Grow Up".


The signs held up by the little Black girls in the picture are telling.

This is not directed at violent Police Officers.
This is not a message to the Klan sympathizers
They don't have a corporation to go after for harming Black people in the presence of "environmental racism"

After years of making the very same observations that I have been making - they are forced to send a message to the BLACK PEOPLE who have been killing their loved ones and "making Black people cry" as they grieve.........just as I have been noticing.

The Solution From The Nation Of Islam

Though it is not necessarily true that the demands that are documented in an article contained in the oracle of the NOI represents the organization's policies, I doubt that they would print something that is totally contrary to their position.

The article demands JOBS and "something to do" for the young people in these problem plagued communities, lest they use this idle time to commit mayhem. I have no problem with this so far.

They then run awry by asking THE GOVERNMENT to provide these JOBS that the young people need to stay out of trouble.

In the matter of "life or death" for Black people they demand that the GOVERNMENT "do something" lest the deaths continue?


THE REST OF THE 'FINAL CALL'

The one article about the deadly summer within the Black community has to be put into context with the rest of the articles seen in the paper and regarding how the Black press operates as well.

The edition of the "Final Call' I saw two articles commenting on Latina Judge Sotomayor and how the GOP and the "White Right Wing" are hypocrites and they have short memories about racism. In another article I saw outrage over the 'friendly fire' shooting of the Black police officer in NYC by a White officer. I saw a plea to spare the life of convicted killer Troy Davis. I saw a Black man who was suing a police department for abuse. . In summary "The Final Call" makes it clear about the threat to Black people from conservatives, the Establishment and the Republican Party. No surprise here. This is the "progressive" and "anti-establishment" side of the Nation Of Islam.

When it comes to the front page story about "the deadly summer within the Black community" they drop the ball regarding the political and ideologically links that are flashing in front of their faces.

On the one hand they demand jobs and funding from "city governments and the federal government". In Chicago and LA - the two cities that are featured - there are few other places that are more dominated by the Democratic Machine. At no point does the author link the murder and mayhem in these same cities with the political machine that presently dominates every single key seat in institutions that service the Black community and thus "keep us from killing ourselves".

I have called out the tendency to "keep conservatives on trial". This is a very popular tactic, likely an UNCONSCIUOS tactic used by the Black Establishment and Black Press. This is so engrained within the Black Political Debate that its like "wetness on water".

The tragic events that are costing the lives of Black people has forced the NOI and several other Black commentators that I have noticed to speak out about the violence and death that is taking place within. They have no "conservatives" to pin this situation on.

THE ART OF REDIRECTON

If you think that such a desperate situation is going to cause the Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chaser to OWN UP TO the failings of his political strategy that now consumes so many Black lives and Black potential where HE ALONE has political and ideological domination.........YOU DON'T KNOW THEM VERY WELL.

They will simply take this situation in which they demand jobs and money to prevent Black deaths into a point of activism. ANY POLITICIAN that stands OPPOSED to spending this money or offering up JOBS will be attacked as "wanting to see Black people dead".

Only a person with the will to bring back up "community history" will care to talk about the promises that were made to these very same Black communities on the front end of this political machine's ascent into power over their institutions. The placement of people who "look like us and who have our best interests in mind" was to bring a brand new day in our streets, in our schools and within the economic engines that sustain our communities. Clearly THEY got into power. The community, smitten by their excitment over the "increased head count" FORGOT to make demands upon those that they had made the promises.

The demands for JOBS comes in the context of communities where Black people have people in power that are popularly favored.

Whereas we are often told about the damage to the "Black Best Interests" by conservative intransigence, rarely does anyone in the Black Press talk about the consequences of the progressive monopoly upon our institutions. I believe that we are looking at such a situation.

Cities were created as a means of synergizing the local resources for the greater good of the masses. Fiscal viability is the cornerstone for any city's being. What is the benefit taking POLTIICAL CONTROL over a district if the accompanying ECONOMIC benefit is left fleeting? The question about JOBS for these communities extends beyond the summertime demand for employment and the need for time consuming activities lest there be violence.

Even as they point to the CITY GOVERNMENT to fulfill this role - these governments are in no financial position to respond. This situation preceeded our present national economic maliase and it will certainly extend beyond it as well.

Over the years I have heard conservatives warn that the consequences of "increasing the cost of labor" is that "the consumers of labor" would depart. The Progressives popoed this charge and continued their trek to have the society set the valuation of an hour of labor rather than the private consumer doing so with respect to his business process.

In addition there has been much consternation about "crime and justice" issues within these same communities. The balance between preemptive investments to prevent crime and justice for the VICTIMS of crime. These victims of the criminals are just as "descended from slavery" as those who attacked them. The concept of "derivative behavior" seeks to explain the motivations for the criminal. Those who have brought this notion to the lexicon have failed to come up with a label that covers the painful impact of assaults and murders of their loved ones that is felt by these victims.

THE NEED FOR A WHOLISTIC ANALYSIS AND UNDERSTAND

Please note - I said NOTHING about Black people voting Republican as a solution for these problems. This is not something that I believe to be the solution. Instead there is a need for Black people to stop outsourcing our dreams of transformed communities upon the Democratic Party and their operatives who look like us and are given unfettered access to us through our press, our community events and our churches.

How can the fear of what "conservatives might do" to "turn back the clock" upon our rights as a people top the present circumstances that many of our communities face? Is the death by a White racist any worse than when death is administered by a Black Pirate? The use of "Racist Scare Crows" to direct our responses needs to be put into check. I detect heavy use of "Racist Scare Crows" in the "Final Call". Indeed they view the plots and plans of the latest White supremacist group as more threatening than the actual execution of violence and intimidation by Black Pirates.

The Black community is going to need to rise up beyond the normal press agents and use MANAGEMENT to supplant the normal grievance stroking that typically riles up the Black community into action. With so many of the threats coming from the inside of our community the usual scapegoat tactics no longer work. That is unless we can figure out how to make all of these Black Pirates into the image of "Clarence Thomas" and "Ward Connerlly". I doubt that this would go over too well in actually solving the problem.
