“Take Back The Black Community Consciousness". It has been hijacked by embedded operatives who don't intend to develop the COMPETENCIES within. We once controlled this consciousness, focusing our activism directly upon our permanent interests. Today the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" has us as starters and some believe that this playing time translates into absolute progress for our people. My goal is to hold our permanent interests in their faces, forcing them to explain their actions.

"Bush Stole The Election And No One Come Over Here" - It Doesn't Get Any Deeper Than This Folks

I did it again.
I went to my computer that I record the various "Fight The Power" radio shows that I listen to as a work out. My anger at the foolishness I hear serves as motivation for me to do one more rep.

Today Warren Ballentine - the "Bankruptcy Shepard" had a topic on what America should do about the controversial election in Iran.

Did the caller (who said that she used to be addicted to drugs) say:

"You know if other nations had got involved to stop AMERICAN slavery our people would not have suffered thus YES we should be the voice of justice? - NOPE
"This nation had a long history of voter fraud. If only the United Nation had spoken up - more Blacks would have been allowed to vote much sooner? - NOPE

What was it that she said?

BUSH STOLE THE ELECTION IN THIS COUNTRY AND NO ONE CAME IN AND BUTTED INTO OUR BUSINESS SO I THINK THAT WE SHOULD MIND OUR OWN BUSINESS ABOUT IRAN. They need to work this out for themselves.

You all don't realize how much pain I feel inside after listening to some of you.
Some of you all have a "de-constructive spirit".
Some of you all base what YOU BELIEVE upon what you disagree with in your adversary than you would be able to make an itemized list of YOUR CORE BELIEFS.

I keep waiting and waiting and waiting for more STRONG arguments to be made to defend the popular positions. I only rarely hear it.

Oh wait - Mr Ballentine is advertising his Bankruptcy Service.
Let me call in and wipe away all of my debt.

The Use Of "Slave/Jim Crow Images" In Black Political Debate - Evaluate The Agenda

The use of "slave imagery" is common in ideological discourse among Black people today. The best way to appraise the veracity of the agenda of the presenter is to distinguish between those images which are used to cajole Black people into "Ideological Unity" versus those images used to bring consciousness to the sad fact that in far too many cases today - the man holding the gun is a Black man, his disturbed consciousness allowed to fester because the balance of our community organizers are focused on external political affairs. They sell us on the notion that when our people assist their political/ideological external partners in their success that these individuals who suffer from BENIGN NEGLECT will be cured - no longer terrorizing us. In the circular reference that is their struggle - the more damaged individuals that matriculate through the local institutions that they now control per their struggle, the louder their call for continued UNITY and redirection lest our community's long time external adversaries start terrorizing us again. They successfully avoid community scrutiny of their stewardship of our key "Human Resource Development" institutions.
