“Take Back The Black Community Consciousness". It has been hijacked by embedded operatives who don't intend to develop the COMPETENCIES within. We once controlled this consciousness, focusing our activism directly upon our permanent interests. Today the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" has us as starters and some believe that this playing time translates into absolute progress for our people. My goal is to hold our permanent interests in their faces, forcing them to explain their actions.

This Time I Must Stand Against The Atlanta Police In This Shooting

The off duty Atlanta policeman patrolling this crime ridden neighborhood around Turner Field appears to be out of line in this shooting.

This appears to be a "shoot first, establish the threat of the situation later" act.

The young guy was called to the area to provide needed prescriptions to his elderly relative. The off duty Atlanta Police man saw a nice car and a young Black man in a drug infested area. He became a threat.

In this case the "police tape" needs to be EXPANDED. This innocent young Black man matched a pattern that is all too common for this area. Unfortunately the police officer, sensing a threat in the context of where he was standing over reacted and now an unarmed Black man has a bullet lodged in his jaw.

The Use Of "Slave/Jim Crow Images" In Black Political Debate - Evaluate The Agenda

The use of "slave imagery" is common in ideological discourse among Black people today. The best way to appraise the veracity of the agenda of the presenter is to distinguish between those images which are used to cajole Black people into "Ideological Unity" versus those images used to bring consciousness to the sad fact that in far too many cases today - the man holding the gun is a Black man, his disturbed consciousness allowed to fester because the balance of our community organizers are focused on external political affairs. They sell us on the notion that when our people assist their political/ideological external partners in their success that these individuals who suffer from BENIGN NEGLECT will be cured - no longer terrorizing us. In the circular reference that is their struggle - the more damaged individuals that matriculate through the local institutions that they now control per their struggle, the louder their call for continued UNITY and redirection lest our community's long time external adversaries start terrorizing us again. They successfully avoid community scrutiny of their stewardship of our key "Human Resource Development" institutions.
