Virginia Report: HBCUs A Potential Hot Bed For Terrorism
Does a new report highlighting Virginia’s historically Black colleges make unfair assumptions about race, region and religion that could undermine civil liberties for African Americans?
A 200-page analysis produced by the Virginia State Police singles out Black-college campuses in Hampton Roads and Richmond areas at potential hotbeds for terrorist activities and urges that they are carefully watched.
While the report does not identify the institutions by name, there is no question that the reference is to Norfolk State University, Hampton University, Virginia State University in Petersburg and Virginia Union University in Richmond. Campus groups "are recognized as a radicalization node for almost every type of extremist group," the report says.
It is amazing how turnabout is fair play and certain people don't like it when the government makes such judgments about a population.
If some of them were honest with themselves they'd evaluate the veracity of the government's claim and make sure that any such labeling by the government has adequate proof to substantiate the claim.
Where as this labeling by Virginia - a former "Confederate State" is likely to be called racist (despite the fact that so many Blacks are cheering about the 'blue-ing' of Virginia) many of these same people are opt to believe that White soldiers exiting the sands of Iraq and Afghanistan are ready to continue killing "brown skinned people" in America now that they have tasted blood.
So let me ask you - What about the Black soliders returning home? What proclivities do they have?
