It comes as no surprise that Black people focus upon and vote as we do in massive numbers where there is an overlay that targets our anger and hatred toward certain focal points. The problem is that these chosen points too often are inconsequential to the key problems that our community faces. Correct me if I am wrong but I can't think of a single public policy which negatively impacts Black people that Rush Limbaugh can be pointed to as the source.
Instead we are seeing the franchise that the Black media has become for the Democratic Party establishment. Rhalm Emanuel sent the message out 2 months ago that Limbaugh is the target for Democratic attack. James Carville and Paul Begalla took the hand off and began to hammer. The leftwing press followed. Now we have the "Fight The Power" Black media doing the same.
It is quite ironic to me to see that the faction which purports to "Speak Truth To Power" has switch to attacking those who have no elected power......now that the people they favor are in office.
THE BLACK COMMUNITY
As a student of politics and the Black community I realize that it is worthless for me to base my rebuttal based on "fairness". There is no such thing as fairness. It is only a matter of power relationship and tying into people's "wants".
It is clear to me that the overlay force over Black America have mastered these two points. They have the POWER over the institutions which impact the lives of Black America:
- The Schools
- The Municipal Courts
- The Legislature
- The Police via the Mayor's Office
Black people are more inclined to HATE Republicans than some of us are to hate the results from the Atlanta Journal Constitution report on the high rate of remedial college education for schools that reside in the areas where WAOK has its strongest following.
As I have mentioned frequently my ultimate objective is to FORCE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND ITS BLACK OPERATIVES OUT OF THE NUCLEUS OF BLACK AMERICANS RACIAL CONSCIOUSNESS. They need to be pushed to the periphery and be made to fight for our loyalties based on what they deliver.
At present Black people have been made to believe that more Black headcount in elected positions is proof of our racial advancement. The data shows how untrue this is. More headcount too often purchases silence from the "speak truth to power" forces.
Ironically - the most difficult task that I face is getting Black people to pursue their OWN PERMANENT INTERESTS to a greater extent that they are inclined to debate Democrats versus Republicans, with them favoring Democrats.
I see what WAOK and others are doing for what it is: IT IS A DIVERSION.
Just as the Republicans talk about Abortion and Prayer In Schools as two sure shot points to get their base riled up - such is the case with Rush Limbaugh.
I have called out the tactic of "Keeping The Conservatives On Trial". Thus we even see Colin Powell, a Republican In Name Only, focusing his criticism upon how the Republicans need to change in order to attract more people. Mr Powell says little about the places where the Democrats need to change. His educational foundation is focused on helping children. The fact is that the places that are in need the most also happen to be dominated Democrats that run these institutions.
Without question there is a distinction between the set of policies that the masses of people favor because THEY BELIEVE that the policies provide a pathway toward their permanent interests versus a set of policies that can be PROVEN TO deliver upon these points.
When one has the power in office AND the power over the media and thus the minds of the masses - the careful selection of the targets of attack make the job easier since the masses will be distracted.

Did you hear Al Sharpton on the Steve Harvey this morning? They are having a march on Washington for Inner City education.
