Dear Mr President - Please Don't Pick A Supreme Court Associate Justice Who Assumes Black Inferiority In The Context Of Distributing Benefit To Us
Dear President Obama:
You have been provided with a great opportunity as president of the United States to shape the future of this nation. While I chose to vote "no confidence" in both you and your main competitor my future support for you, your policies and the policies of the Democratic Machine that dominates every single majority Black community in America hinges on your willingness to address the problems of the present among our people rather than use the past as a crutch and retain the status quo.
Certain policies that may have initial benefit to the satisfaction of the bulk of your natural support base will inevitably lead to long term harm for those same people because it papers over many of the key issues underlying much of our condition in exchange for expedient outcomes.
President Obama - when you were speaking about the need for the Pakistani Army to stop focusing on the "enemies of the past" (the neighboring Indian adversary) and instead focus upon the "threat within" I immediately took this same template and applied it to the condition that is faced presently within Black America. If only you could take the lead and make this same case more close to home. The Black people who support you and the machine that you lead are far more inclined to have YOU "tell them what they NEED TO HEAR" than they are to receive these same words from me - despite their "truthiness".
Mr Obama what better evidence of the "systemtac assumed inferiority of Black people" than the present Supreme Court case invovling the actions of the New Haven Fire Department? Despite having over 100 "EQUAL MEN" submitting to run through the paces for a promotion to the job of lietenant the fact that none of the Blacks in the body of candidates merited the position after a series of test that were ABOVE BOARD - the New Haven Fire Department decided to set aside the promotions because........no Blacks were in the pool of finalists.
Mr Obama some Black people who disagree with me argue that "Black Cultural Self Esteem" will be built up IF there are Black people positioned as authority figures, thus seeing nothing buy White folks being promoted would violate this. In truth, the organizaitonal knowledge that the BLACKS WHO ARE IN COMMAD POSITIONS were handed their positions using the qualifying characteristic of race works to actually inferiorize Black people and thus has the opposite effect.
Mr Obama I have been following the compromised positions of assumed inferiority that too many Black people are willing to take as a pretext of obtaining certain benefits. This must end.
Today the force that is greater in harm than the "Slave Master's Whip" from 140 years ago or the Klansmen's noose of 75 years ago is the debilitating impact that our own present day people have upon us. From the mother and father who are the "hand that rocks the cradle" to the community that doesn't provide the proper LIMITS and guidance forward - these are the pressing problems.
I heard your Attorney General make the case that his justice department will open back up for business and will vigorously pursue civil rights violations for the protection of minority rights. With all due respect - where I sit the most consistent UNCHECKED civil rights violations are happening within the Black community with our people suffering from rackettering based attacks, witness intimidation, jury tampering and an unacceptably low 'homicide closure rate' in some communities.
Mr Obama your policies and judicial outlook need to be updated to the realities of today. Rather than focusing upon chancing windmills and "racist scare crows" that would make you popular among some politically active elements within the Black community I hope and pray that you would instead put forth a legislative and law enforcement agenda that addresses the key threats that are "making Black people cry today" and which are waging an 'assault upon Black owned businesses".
My vote is more at play than people realize. I am focused on effective results than on the appeal of the vehicle that purports to take me to this place.
“Take Back The Black Community Consciousness". It has been hijacked by embedded operatives who don't intend to develop the COMPETENCIES within. We once controlled this consciousness, focusing our activism directly upon our permanent interests. Today the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" has us as starters and some believe that this playing time translates into absolute progress for our people. My goal is to hold our permanent interests in their faces, forcing them to explain their actions.

I would like to see President Obama nominate a person who has as the foundation of their judicial belief that BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT INFERIOR and that absent any direct proof of racism having been executed against a party will not use this assumption to provide benefit to Blacks and other minorities.
Using this principle the issue of the New Haven Fire Department would be judged as unconstitutional since a promotion class who ALL WENT THROUGH AN 'ABOVE BOARD' process for evaluation yet lacked sufficient non-White candidates is not permissible for discard.
As well the Texas Utilities Commission which is a brand new voting district THAT WAS NOT AROUND when the egregious actions of voting rights violations against minorities was conducted. Thus the location of the new district rather than the previous violations of the district determines the sanction that is placed upon the district as they have 'inherited the sins of their fathers' despite no present evidence of this continued action today.
With the success of the regulation of the bodies of laws against racism and the equality of us all under the law as the operating assumption the conflict of SCARSE RESOURCE DISTRIBUTION BETWEEN GROUPS (ie: scarce freshman seats, promotion slots, drawing of political districts for one elected official's seat) is going to place an INCREASED burden upon the court system to be the tie breakers of the conflict.
It is more important than ever for the Supreme Court to show that Black people are NO LONGER 3/5THS of a human being and, most importantly rule in a way in which BLACK PEOPLE BELIEVE THIS about ourselves, rather than consider us DAMAGED GOODS in the context of receiving a benefit.
It is my belief that far more damage to the Black Cultural Confidence is made when we are asked by our leadership to hunch our shoulders in the acceptance of some benefit given because our ancestors were injured than when it is assumed that we are EQUAL and thus the onus is placed upon the INSTITUTIONS THAT THE PEOPLE OF OUR OWN CHOOSING NOW RUN, to put forth more EFFECTIVE PROCESSES that either allow us to compete with others or to maintain or develop opportunity in the places we live that are now operated by people that we have empowered.
In cutting off these race based tactics which were meant to be TEMPORARY REMEDIATION.......REAL BLACK LEADERSHIP must step forward to lead us beyond our present state OR our failure will say that "WE HAVE DONE EVERYTHING NECESSARY TO REMAIN THIS WAY BECAUSE THE LEADERSHIP LACKED THE VISION TO DIRECT US OTHERWISE".
