Rev Farrakhan - Only Your Acceptance Of Snoop Dogg Into Your Fold Without Asking That He First CHANGE Trumps These Words Said By You About Malcolm X

I have previously heard about Rev Farrakhan's views on the assassination of Malcolm X but I had never heard him speak on the subject.

Rev Farrakhan - El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, when he voiced criticism of the Nation of Islam he was doing so in reference to the "real Islam" that he saw upon venturing to Mecca. Thus it seems likely that you are seeking to defend your "sect" than you have any particular interest in insuring that your sect is in line with Islam.

The video you showed of The Hon. Louis Farrakhan has nothing to do with Snoop. Quit hating and let Black People Rize!

Clearly you are slow.

1) Louis Farrakhan is the leader of the Nation of Islam.

2) His words and actions impact the INTEGRITY of this organization.

3) The video shows the words of Farrakhan as it relates to the murder of the great Malcolm X.

4) In THIS COUNTRY - THE LAW and thus brother Malcolm's RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH and not be punished for it WITH HIS LIFE trump any "dignity" that Farrakhan can claim.

5) Thus Farrakhan, who is NOT a leader of a nation - HAS NO LEGAL RIGHT TO PUNISH A CRITIC OF HIS ORGANIZATION WITH DEATH.

6) A few months ago Louis Farrakhan (and I accept that it is possible that he has CHANGED) had A Pimp named "Snoop Dogg" ON STAGE during his "Saviors Day" ceremony noting to the world that Mr Calvin Broadus has become a member of the Nation of Islam

7) CLEARLY the NOI did not place many demands upon its newest member because I posted that just a few days ago SNOOP DOG WAS DOING AN INTERNET RADIO SHOW IN WHICH HE WAS SMOKING WEED AND TALKING SMACK......just like the old days before he "Found Allah"

8) You and others spend far more time seeking to "KEEP PEOPLE WHO YOU DISAGREE WITH IN LINE with YOUR CONCEPT OF BLACKNESS than you bother to make note of the violations executed by the people that you favor.

9) Black People Will RIZE when our INSTITUTIONS ARE MADE TO ACT WITH CONSISTENT INTEGRITY.

Thus MY ANALYSIS STANDS.
Clearly the NOI linked up with Snoop Dogg for his brand name than to get him to REFORM, retiring his PIMPING ACTIVITIES as they are OFFENSIVE to the integrity of Black people and the organization.

This is so DAMNED stupid for the following reasons.

1) SNOOP DID NOT ever say he joined the NOI or what you term "Rev" Farrakhan's "fold". Get a clue!

2) SNOOP DID give much props, love, respect and all that to Farrakhan and the NOI for helping to produce peace where there was war within the Hip Hop community and for being "there" and available whenever SNOOP and other rappers needed his words of wisdom.

3) SNOOP DID make his comments at the NOI's annual convention ALONG with others who also gave props, love and respect to Farrakhan and the NOI.

4) SNOOP'S simple comments are on the Internet for anyone who doubts at: http://www.finalcallmedia.com/media/51/Snoop_Dogg_@_SD2009/

5) Don't hate

And from this information - you say what?

ROSEMONT, Ill. — Rapper Snoop Dogg made an appearance Sunday at the Nation of Islam's annual Saviours Day convention, praising Minister Louis Farrakhan and suggesting that he is a member of the movement.

Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, gave a $1,000 donation to the Nation and said he will always seek the minister out.

The rapper called himself the "leader of the hip-hop community" and said it was his first Saviours Day event. He told followers that he would share the information he gathered with other musicians.

"When you get a speech from Minister Farrakhan it's about a mirror, it's about looking at yourself," the rapper later told The Associated Press. "It's about seeing yourself and what you can do to better the situation ... We're doing a lot of wrongs among ourselves that need correcting."

When asked by the AP if he planned to convert and become a member of the Chicago-based Nation of Islam, Snoop said he has already joined in the movement.

"I'm already in the Nation, that's why I'm here," he said. "I'm an advocate for peace. I've been in the peace movement ever since I've been making music. My whole thing is not about really trying to push my thing on you. It's just about the way I live, and I live how I'm supposed to live as far as doing what's right and representing what's right. That's why I was here today."

The rapper did not elaborate on when he'd joined the Nation. Messages left for Nation of Islam officials were not immediately returned Sunday. Attempts to reach the rapper's publicist were unsuccessful.

During the speech Sunday, Snoop sat on stage behind Farrakhan clapping and nodding.

Snoop declined to say how long he would be in the Chicago area or whether he was working on any projects. His last album, "Ego Trippin,'" was released in March 2008.

Farrakhan has long held relationships with famous rappers and hip-hop artists. He has hosted and spoken at hip-hop conventions, encouraging peace between rappers.

Rapper Doug E. Fresh also attended the convention but didn't speak publicly. Rapper T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, appeared via recorded video. He told followers that education is the key to success.
