Democrats try to lower economic expectations

They say despite bailout, stimulus, downturn may last for a while

Some of you all think that I hate the Democrats. I don't. I think that they are masterful in what they do. Don't mistake my ideological disagreements with many of them with utter hatred.

They have a more working class base and they know how to stroke them, managing their marketing message, turning it up when they are seeking power and ratcheting it down when they hold the keys and risk being judged.

I ain't mad at them.  If my goal was simply power and I had people thinking that as I grew in power so would they - I would be doing the same thing.   

Ultimately folks - I can't blame the Democrats.  They are going to do what they are going to do.  The blame must be held by the public who have ALLOWED there to be a great distance between what they know to be possbile/probable and what ultimately turns out to grow to too large of a span.

Larry Summers has recovered nicely from his Harvard University tenure hasn't he?  I have not heard any feminists attacking him.  Feminists are so "unscientific" in their inclination to attack Democrats, aren't they?
