The Democratic Party, Civil Rights, Hip Hop And The Criminal Element --- Democrats Have Alliances That Few Question

The Hip Hop Front of:
1) Clifford "TI" Harris - Former drug dealer. Convicted felon. Shot a video in the Fulton County jail while imprisoned - leading to disciplinary action against several Fulton County Sheriff Dept officials who 'green lighted' the video. (IIRC) A prisoner escaped during the filming of the video.

Will soon serve 1 year in jail for a gun conviction. The machine gun would have likely been used to kill a Black person if he had to use it against someone. Following this arrest several Black majority public schools invited him in to speak as a role model to their students, telling them of the dangers of gun violence and gangs.

2) Jay "Young Jeezy" Jenkins - former Georgia drug dealer who now pushes "verbal drugs and ignorance" in to the minds of young people. Most of his videos have a "F_ck The Police" tone to them. He seems at ease having a sheriff standing behind him but not asking him to "spread 'em", for once.

3) Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges - made famous with his potty mouth lyrics that called Black women out of their name among other things. No need for me to post the lyrics - you can find it all on your own.

He now has the "Ludacris" foundation and we are all supposed to ignore the ignorant words that he used to build up his fortune and only focus on his "good side". He criticized Jim Martins' Republican opponent as "not helping people in need'. When he renounces his past lyrics and purges all similar lyrics from his music - then he will be in a position to judge someone - with credibility.


Behind them are "Upstanding members of the community" - the establishment if you will:

4) The standing preacher Rev Charles Durley of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta - a man of the cloth. I have attended Rev Durley's church a few times. He is a good man. Sometimes, however, there is a time to reject the 'inclusiveness' and 'non-judgmentalism' that is rampant among many liberal Black churches and agree not to lay with dogs who have fleas lest you compromise your own integrity.

5) The sitting Dekalb County Sheriff Thomas Brown - who may one day have to arrest #1 or #2 if their track record of previous criminal behavior is any indication.

I wonder if Sheriff Brown knows how much contempt Young Jezzy has for his profession and the "injustice" of having all of those young Black males like him housed in the "Dekalb County Jail", affectionately known as the "Dekalb County Hilton"?


From the White Liberal corner:

6) Liberal Democratic Senatorial Candidate Jim Martin. He was able to unite the various factions within Black America who (supposdely) have different responsibilities to their community but all of whom claim to be FIGHTING for our progression as a people. They have joined together for this one common cause - to get the DEMOCRATS elected.



Why is it that this picture will not raise an eyebrow except if there was some other array of individuals sharing the same stage?

For some strange reason the Black community has the common belief that the "White Supremacist" of yore is a large threat to our community than are the modern day "Drug Thugs" who terrorize their communities.

Let me ask you - WHICH of these two threats did many of these Black citizens in Dekalb and Fulton County put up the burglar bars over their windows and doors to keep out?

At some people MY PEOPLE - need to say that certain things are NOT WORTH "selling out" over. Some behavior needs to be REPUDIATED so that the operatives will change after being ostrasized. Instead many Black Democrats believe that if they can form a coalition WITH the main threats who are the source of the most numerous CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS against Black people today then if they just TRY HARD ENOUGH for the GOVERNMENT to change that these Thugs will stop terrorizing them - instead taking a leadership position in the community because of the empowerment by the government.

For me - as a resident of Georgia - any politician who can unite the criminal element and the (supposed) piliars of the society is a potician that I will not vote for because clearly what he is selling looks past the continuing damage that these people are doing and as it attempts to focus them both on a COMMON EXTERNAL ENEMY. The worse thing that could ever happen is for that enemy to move away and the coalition be forced to actually PRODUCE results using their organic efforts.
