SFO Chronicle Article: Next wave of black leaders finds fresh voice
One only needs to inspect both groups on their position regarding improving the quality of education within the Black community, reducing crime within the Black community and increasing the acquisition of jobs that will allow us to prosper in order to see that this change that is being heralded by some - is no change in reality.
The group who has lead our communities and respective policy promotions have walked away from this interval of our time with no accountability being cast their way for the results that remain elusive. They still are able to reference Slavery, Jim Crow and the decline of Affirmative Action more than the community itself will note that they have the vast majority of the seats of power within.
After having run out all offending "conservatives" from office - it is now time to adopt a "Now that people who are favorable to us are in power - we as a community need to learn how to obtain what we need out of them".
