How Many Black Folks Have Been Actually KILLED By A Noose In 2007

The Noose makes a come back.
This weekend CNN plans to run a special dedicated to reviewing the increased sightings of nooses around this country as supposed tools of intimidation for Black people. This comes as Martin Luther King III and others are organizing a "March on the Justice Department in Washington DC" on November 16th.

Hold on a minute folks. Let's consider one important question: "How many Black people have been KILLED/LYNCHED this year to justify the outrage and the trip to Washington DC" (.....with Global Warming and the like acting as a constrain on our travel and use of fossil fuels).

IF we logically conclude that the noose is a tool that brings Black people to a given end - this being DEATH then why is it that we are being drawn by these operatives to focus on THE NOOSE rather than the DEATH COUNTS within the Black community in 2007? Of course if you allow them to frame the question they would be glad to focus on these deaths, that is, as long as we focus on THE GUNS and not the Kneegrow Thugs that actually pulled the trigger.

Back during the heights of the Civil Rights Movement was there a movement to go after "nooses" - the object or was there an attempt to gain justice by locking up the perpetrators and the corrupt "All White Juries" that allowed them to go free. Why is it any different today IF we are interested in "Black Death"? Why can we focus on deploying effective measures to insure that the "Killers of Blacks" are apprehended and punished....just as when the White racists were doing the killings?

I am thus forced to reintroduce an appropriate term that I have coined: "The Non-White White Supremacist". This is a non-White person who values the actions of White folks over the same deeds and offenses that a non-White person might have assaulted them with. The problem is as they promote what White folks have done to assault them they often look past the much, much, much greater number of offenses that THEIR OWN KIND has done to them. In certain inner city communities the homicide closure rate for Black on Black killings it as 32%. This means that 68% of the killers of Black people are STILL WALKING THE STREETS. Where is the JUSTICE for the family of the now dead Black person? What if we hand out nooses to all Black thugs and allow this to be their tools of the trade to reach this certain death for another Black man? Would THIS cause the operatives to focus the due attention upon this more frequent source of death for Black people?

Last night I was recording a local "Black Power" radio show on "WRFG"...the "PROGRESSIVE Information Station". In the show "The Friday Night Drum" the host keyed in on the kidnapping and abuse of a Black female in West Virginia. Let me be 100% clear - I will strongly defend the right of this particular radio show and any other to focus upon which ever story they choose to. They are expressing their freedom of speech which I value. I do, however, have a right to scrutinize their coverage with respect to THE CARNAGE THAT THEY ARE DRIVING BY AND IGNORING in order to get to their story in West Virginia. This story happened in early October. Since this time in the one metro area that I live in no less than 15 Black homicides have made it to the headlines of the news. I have a right to challenge this group from the stand point of PROPORTIONALITY of the offense that they have thrown their coverage at in the context of the entire picture of offenses against Black people.

Just yesterday a gang who are transplants from New Orleans that is responsible for a series of murders in the Atlanta area were taken down. This did not raise an eyebrow among the usual suspects who value White offenses so much greater.

9 Thugs Indicted on a Series of Murders

of an Iraq war veteran that may have been "target practice," Fulton County prosecutors said Friday.

Prosecutors say the people indicted were connected with a New Orleans-based street gang whose activities contributed to a spike in violent crime in Atlanta last year.

Eight of the indicted are believed to be members of the gang, known as International Robbing Crew. The ninth is the woman connected to the gang, the indictment says.

I seriously doubt that the mention of the "International Robbing Crew" will ever flow off of the lips of Martin Luther King III or the host of the Friday Night drum. Their offenses do not rise to the level of what the White men who displayed the nooses around the nation have done - the dead Black people in the first case be damned.
